I knew Don Hoffman since first grade.  He was in a motorcycle accident July 1986, was in a coma at first and then a semi-coma until his death in April of 2006.  He could track you with his eyes but never spoke again. His left side was paralyzed.  I knew him as Donny.  He was kind and polite and I don't remember him ever being unkind. He was a good person and is missed by his friends and family.  Beth his sister still lives in the Darke county area.
